Wow. I cannot believe I have reached the age of 18.
Now officially an adult, It is so weird. I do not feel any different at all really.
It's been a few days and although i have hit this massive milestone, I haven't noticed any dramatic change in my life. It all seems the same to me.
But enough of that :)
So i turned 18 last Friday. It was rather amazing. I woke up early for once so i had heaps of time to get ready for school (couldn't even have a day off!). So i came out into the kitchen and mum toold me to sit at the table so i could have some breakfast. She then proceeds to bring out several presents.
The first being a small model 67' Chevrolet Impala (which is an amazing car).
MY second present was a friggin awesome stereo :D
My last present was an iPod Touch to go with the stereo's iPod dock and it also served as a replacement to my broken nano.
From various other relatives i received moneys which is awesome because i need to start saving for my trip to Adelaide at the end of the year. The money I currently have is going towards my Ace D. Portgas cosplay for Supanova. I am so excited!
On Saturday night I had my birthday party (which is a big deal for me. I haven't had a party since I was 10). It was a pretty big event. I was so surprised! More than 25 people all at our house to celebrate my birthday. I'm not usually the centre of attention so it took a bit of getting used to. Several of my best mates came over and after everyone was finished with me we retreated to the shed, where we had set up: several mattresses, HEAPS of food and drinks, a projector hooked up to a laptop for movie watching. After about ten minutes we brought out the Xbox and hooked that baby up to the projector and had some mad gaming time. Bit of Halo Reach on a massive screen. Was hectic as hell and even got violent (it was impossible to NOT screen cheat afterall).
After about two hours of gaming we were called out for dessert. This was the point when my AMAZING Red vs Blue cake was revealed. I was so beyond excited over this and it was so unexpected!
The only bad thing was that it was too big for the usual slicing. So i rammed a kitchen knife into the top and cut the sucker in half! This took a while due to almost everyone screaming advice at me for how i should cut the cake. This was very irritating leading to my stabbing of the cake. Everyone found this rather amusing though.
The cake was delicious!! seriously! Like, AMAZINGLY GOOD!!
After most of my party guests had left, me and my friends retreated to the shed for a game of manopoly. All I am going to say about that it is this: I'm surprised we all got out of that alive..
With manopoly out of the way..We played more Xbox and even had a Pokemon battle via DS!
It got to about 4am when we decided to turn in. By this point the shed had become lovely and cold again so we all got under our sleeping bags and slept.
So that, is my birthday weekend :)
All in all it was rather awesome.
If you continued reading to this point, congratulations and thank you :)
Til next time
P.S. My friend Thomas (who is Jewish) bought me a large bottle of vodka for my birthday. We had a celebratory shot by the fire pit. It was awesome to officially have my first drink.
I'm a bit of a nut like that. For example, I can't wait to watch my first R18+ movie at the cinema!

Hey people :)
Just thought I'd take a bit of time to talk about Papa Roach's new album The Connection.
It is amazing album filled with the hard rock sound that defined the band but also featuring several songs based on a more soft sound. The important thing about these songs is that you can relate to them. They are based on the basic issues everyone faces, whether its a breakup you can't get over, problems with depression or even suicidal thoughts.
This music pulled me through a difficult time in my life. People are always worse off somewhere in the world which is a large part of why I don't talk about my problems but the music this band creates just gets me through and helps me get over whatever is troubling me.
I seriously recommend listening to them. Members that already know who Papa Roach are will know what I'm talking about of. They truely are one of the greatest bands on this planet.
For people new to the band i recommend the following songs:
Before I Die
Leader of the Broken Hearts
Wish you Never Met Me
Just take a couple minutes to give it a try :) You won't regret it.
Until Next Time

I havn't done a journal for a while.
Guess i have not had much to talk about.
Well things have changed for me recently.
Nearing the end of high school. Only a couple weeks left of year 11. and one year until i am finished for good :)
I have also made a group on here. Australia Day PSA!!!
I'm very proud of it :)
Time for me to go for now.
This is a forum for suggestions as to what could be included in the PSA.
For example you could suggest sarge having an epic wrestle with a deadly saltwater crocodile or donut finding out thongs are shoes in Australia.
Just blurt out any ideas you have :)
