First, let me clean up the dust and old cobwebs surrounding this profile of mine. Boy, this is messy.
Now then, as the title says, I've never played Halo. Well, I HAVE played Halo but only multiplayer at friends' houses. I've never known anything about the story in the single player campaigns.
This is mainly because I hated Halo as a whole when I was growing up. Remember, never played ever, as I never had an Xbox neither. Back then, all I heard was "Halo this, Halo that, Halo, Halo, Halo" and it annoyed me this was all most of my gamer friends talked about.
And they weren't even talking about the story. They just kept talking about pwning n00bs, getting stickies, teabagging and how it was the best video game ever as each title came out. And it all just annoyed me to the point that it would infuriate me if anyone mentioned "Halo".
Getting older, I would hop onto multiplayer whenever I was at my friend's house. We both knew I didn't like the series but multiplayer was just enough. Even had a really great match of Regicide in Halo 4 that I remember. But having the 2 of us run through the campaigns in Co-Op just didn't interest me. Mainly because, we'd play through a whole campaign and I wouldn't have understood a lick of whatever was going on since we're a bit of hecklers.
Flash forward to last month, my brother had come home for 2 weeks. Had a fun 2 weeks before he had to be back in Camp Pendleton. Still not sure why but he left behind his Xbox One and his copies of all 5 Halo games (Master Chief Collection and Halo 5) so I figured, this is a really good opportunity to play through all the campaigns. Maybe see if I can break this silly beef I have with this series.
I'm nearly done with the first game and I plan to post about what I thought of it and have posts for each of the campaigns. Because honestly, I can't say I hate Halo I haven't really experienced it for myself, right?
And I know that probably no one will see or even care about this but this is mainly a thing for me. I'm gonna try to be a lot more active here.
